There are some tricks you can use to convince your mind and to get it to believe and act upon your affirmations faster.
Instead of simply stating--ask
We all know the conventional way to do affirmations--state in a positive form and in present tense what it is you want. But instead you can ask a question. Instead of stating “I am a millionaire”, ask “why am I a millionaire?”
Why do you think asking questions works much better? Simply because when you are just stating something, your mind is looking for proof of it. When you say “ I am a millionaire”, your mind automatically says “no you are not, I don’t see the proof”. But when you are asking “why am I a millionaire?” your mind looks for answers to the question rather than looking for proof.
The subconscious mind loves questions, and loves finding answers, so it shifts its focus from looking for proof to answering the question. And while answering the question, it believes that you are in fact a millionaire, it just has to find an answer why.
Use the word “choose”
That is another great way of making your affirmations work quicker and making your mind believe in them. Use the word “choose”. Instead of saying “I am a millionaire”, say “I choose to be a millionaire.”
“I choose” is much more believable and will make your mind act on your affirmations faster.
Those are two great ways of making your affirmations work for you and making your mind believe them and act upon them.
